Dr. Dani is truly phenomenal. I was so flustered and overwhelmed with my child’s existing IEP, how to prepare for it, what to ask for, what he was underperforming in and Dani truly came to the rescue. She took all of his paperwork (and we’re talking years of paperwork) and condensed it into the most informative, clear spreadsheet complete with dates, diagnoses, comparisons between years and IEPs to the point where I was shocked that this was even possible. What’s more amazing is that she did this in such a short turnaround. She is not just another advocate, she truly cares about her clients as if these children were her own. Her knowledge is endless and she connects with both the children and parents. Just speaking with her gave me the hope that my child would get what he needs. I can tell you that he got what he needed and more. She goes above and beyond by educating the parents and helping break down the incredibly complicated IEP/PPT process and doesn’t rely on the parents to advocate for their kids, but she does it and is VERY respected. it was amazing the difference in my PPT with and without her. The staff immediately ‘stood up’ and paid attention/were willing to work with us when Dani became involved, versus our prior advocate who sat back and didn’t take the lead. I could truly go on forever but Dr. Dani has singlehandedly made my son’s life better. She even helped me when I was unsure what to do about my neurotypical daughter and concerns I had. She encouraged me to call a PPT for her and again I was shocked that district was willing to do all of these tests in order to gather data on my daughter so answer my concerns. We’re still waiting for the results, but even if it does not appear she needs services, we will be able to know so much more about her and how she learns.
